I’m Sudesh Visvanathan, the founder of Analytrics. My journey began in Tamil Nadu, where I grew up surrounded by farmers who worked tirelessly, students who dreamed of better opportunities, and small businesses constantly adapting to changing markets. Over the years, I realised that although everyone was trying their best, many of their decisions were based on guesswork rather than reliable information. Farmers guessed market prices, businesses guessed what consumers wanted, and students guessed which career paths to follow. This uncertainty made life harder than it needed to be.
During my B.Sc. (Hons) Agriculture from Tamil Nadu Agricultural University, I spent time in fields speaking with farmers, conducting surveys, and understanding their challenges firsthand. I saw how even a single piece of accurate information could help someone make a more confident choice. Later, while pursuing my M.Sc. in Business and Management at the University of Strathclyde, UK, I learned how organisations use structured research, data analytics, and forecasting to guide their strategies. I realised that these powerful tools were often available only to large corporations—while smaller businesses, students, and even farmers rarely had access to such clarity.
That contrast became the inspiration for Analytrics. I started the company alone, not with a large team or office, but with a clear purpose: to make meaningful insights simple, transparent, and accessible to everyone. Whether it's a food brand trying to understand consumer behaviour, a student exploring career possibilities, or a farmer deciding which crop to cultivate, every decision becomes better when it is backed by clarity rather than guesswork.
Through every PDF report I publish and every dataset I create, my mission is to bring direction where there is uncertainty and truth where there are assumptions. Analytrics is more than a business to me—it is the result of everything I’ve learned as an agriculture student, a researcher, a business graduate, and someone who genuinely wants people to make informed decisions.
I may be starting small, but I’m building this step by step, with intention and purpose. If even one insight from my work helps someone make a better choice, then this journey is already meaningful
